Scrabble: Fun for the Whole Family

This is a screenshot of a scrabble game I had recently with a friend. Can you BELIEVE that one? Haha. She finally conceded because further play was obviously futile. On this version you can look up words before you play them... and of course I had to check DIPTO. C'mon, you never know!

I used to play scrabble with my Mom. Our games would take hours! Hmm. She didn't seem to have much fun. I recently came across this video clip from a typical scrabble scenario with her. I had a pretty good chuckle. She's such a good sport.

A Million Ways to be "Cool"

Jen and I showed up at the Silversun Pickups, Ok Go, Snow Patrol concert on Tuesday night. I can't express how much I thoroughly enjoyed it! Of course, poor Jensies couldn't see much at times. I threatened to pound on some people who were pushing into her. For some reason she said not to. Anyways, I guess it was the last stop on their North American tour, so did they EVER make a show of it. It was so much fun! I liked Ok Go before, but now I'm in loooove. They're cool in a million trillion kajillion ways. So I put together a little video. It's kind of long and the quality sucks, but you will at least get a wee taste of the fun!

ps. There's no Silversun Pickups on there because I always worry at first that I'm going to get in trouble for taking photos. That wears off after a bit...

ad-lib muppets

When Rose was here, we were at the toy store looking for gifts for her nephews. We found ourselves suddenly transfixed by Alfred and Poohead, a charming pair of muppets who live at the store. Basically, I admit, we're weird. It would have helped if we didn't laugh at everything we came up with. Anyways, I had fun putting it together. Enjoy, I think...

Surfing Video- BEYOND Cool

I love board sports and if I can't pull off the stunts myself, then I'm definitely watching. I cannot fully express the awesomeness of this video. You may think that putting it to music would make it even better, but the thunder from that mountain of water must be heard to be fully appreciated!
