Remember those Sprite commercials, the ones with the mantra:
Image Is Nothing? God, that is such a bunch of bull. Paris Hilton has made a career out of her image. Makeover shows play on how bad people looked in their 'before' pictures and how good they look in their 'after' shots. It always amazes me how bad good-looking people can look. Here are just a few examples:
In high school I looked like Ugly Betty but wanted to look like Elle MacPherson... but I didn't quite know how to pull that off! I'm quite happy now to be somewhere in between. Some days more Betty, some days with just a glimmer of Elle (hahaha, ok could happen). She's turning 44 this year by the way. WOW. Check it out

Maybe you should post a before and after pic of yourself-one in high school and one now. ;)
I still dress similar to how i did in high school ,so I would have to post a junior high pic to really bring out the ugly betty in me. hahaha!
I think I ditched the few photos of that were taken in high school. One thing remains, a videotape that captures the essence of my loserdom. My parents have stowed it away someplace out of my reach and my awareness, because they know it would have been BURNED long ago.
Oh well. If I come across any then perhaps I'll indulge you. Perhaps.
